The clients had recently built an extension to their house, and the garden had become a dumping ground.
It is an awkward shaped plot from which a pretty, urban garden was created. A spherical, carved sandstone water feature draws you through the garden and complements the circular terraces. Sandstone paving, together with terracotta setts, lend the garden warmth and the circular theme is echoed in the planting – box balls and clipped pittosporum. Lavender, claret and soft cream roses and evergreen jasmine soften the outlines and giving the garden a restrained palette of colour.
